Last Tuesday I passed the Final Jury of my doctoral dissertation about urbanism and contemporary art in Southeast Asian Cities at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. The jury was presided by architect Jose Luis Penelas and counted with the assistance of Dr Satanan Channowana, who travelled from Bangkok to Madrid for the occasion. Very grateful to the National Research Council of Thailand for their continued trust and Design Trust Foundation Hong Kong for their early support. Also thankful to my directors Concha Lapayese Luque and Le Thi Thu Huong and my good friend Kittichok Nithisathian. Lastly, thanks to UPM and the Embassy of Spain in Thailand for facilitating the visit of Dr Satanan.
